Nilofer Moin Desai
Nilofer joined Station Plaza Dental Practice in August 2019. She passed her dental qualification from Bangalore, India in 2013. She passed her statutory exam conducted by General Dental Council in April 2019. She is very friendly and patient care & understanding is very important to her. While providing treatments to her patients she makes sure that her patients are fully comfortable and satisfied. She has experience in all treatments and procedures. She enjoys more working with children.Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, loves to cook food and do paintings with her daughter. She also loves to travel to new places and watch movies in her spare time.
William John Urquhart
Originally from Northern Ireland, John qualified at the London Hospital Medical College in 1997. He lives in Eastbourne where he likes to think that he lowers the average age of the population. He has two grown up boys and relaxes by playing piano and guitar, also some very minor involvement in sports. Professionally he likes to maintain a relaxed atmosphere within the surgery, and is keen on dentist-patient communication and a holistic approach to oral care. John is an advocate of Continuing Professional Development and has completed courses in Clinical Hypnosis, Endodontics and Advanced Restorative Techniques.
Dr Emma Young
Emma qualified from King’s College London in 2011.
She has worked at Station Plaza Dental Practice for the last 6 years and provides all aspects of NHS general dentistry.
Dr David John Campbell
David qualified from Glasgow University in 1987 and joined Battle Road Dental Practice in 1991. His main interests are treating phobic patients under sedation, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr Alastair David Mackay
Alastair qualified as a Dentist from Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1987. He has been practicing Dentistry in the UK since 1990, moving to Hastings with his young family in 1993. He became a Co-Principal of Battle Road Dental Practice in 2000, and jointly oversaw the rapid expansion and relocation of the Practice in 2010 along with the acquisition of the newly built Station Plaza Dental Practice in the town center. He now works predominantly in the Private sector and since joining the South Cliff Dental Group has been able to dedicate more clinical time to his interests of aesthetic and minimal invasive dentistry. For the past nine years he has been an Educational Supervisor with London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Postgraduate Dental Deanery, overseeing the Foundation Dental Training year of new Dental Graduates.Alastair is a keen sportsman regularly playing squash and golf, enjoying any opportunity to watch the Springboks play rugby!
Anu Chacko Elamblakatt
Overseas dentist, originally from India, And has been registered with GDC as a Dental Therapist. She strives to ensure our patients always feel 100 per cent informed and comfortable during their visit. To her, there is nothing more gratifying than educating and helping patients. She is a very fun loving person and likes to cook in her free time.
Suzanne Mary Astle
Suzanne qualified as a dental nurse at The Royal London Dental Hospital and then went on to train as a Dental Hygienist with The Royal Army Dental Corps, qualifying in 1983. She has worked in dental practices in the Hastings area since qualifying and has been with Battle Road Dental Practice since 2010. Suzanne enjoys keeping fit, especially swimming, which she does with a local swimming club.
